Archaeologists working at the Espirtu Pampa site at Vilcabamba unearthed several tombs earlier this year including one belonging to the Lord of Wari.  Archaeologist say these tombs are the most important discovery in Peru since the discovery of the lost city of Machu Picchu. 

The gold, silver and ceramic treasures are currently on display at a temporary exhibition room of the Regional History Museum Casa Garcilaso de la Vega in Cusco.
